About me
Hey, I'm Janani. (Navaranjitham, officially.)
I'm a software developer and a Computer Science student at IFET College of Engineering, graduating in 2027.
I like backend work: REST APIs, authentication, database design, and everything that has to work before anyone sees the interface. I build the frontend too, mostly with React and Next.js.
Lately I've been building search and AI tools. One is a multi-tenant search platform that mixes SQL filtering with vector search. Another is an interview coach that uses RAG to ask better questions.
I've interned at Aspivox, building a practice platform for students and teachers with Node.js, Express, and a bit of machine learning. Before that I worked as a junior React developer at Praya Labs.
I like building tools that simplify real-world workflows. If something is slow, repetitive, or confusing, I want to fix it.
I've picked up a few things along the way: Best Performer at my college, and runner-up at a national-level hackathon with more than 100 teams.
Anyway, that's me.
I build things that work. Sometimes I build things that help other people build things that work.
And occasionally, I remember to go outside.
